What in the world is facial balancing with filler?
Facial balancing is a customized injectable treatment administered by yours truly that enhances harmony and proportion between multiple facial features. I use only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers injected in strategic areas of the face to focus on subtle adjustments and create balance rather than changing how you look. The placement of fillers enhances facial structure, restores volume, and improves symmetry for the face as a whole. But, I always consider proportions, angles, and natural movement to create cohesive, balanced results for each patient.
Rest assured, my whole goal is to create a refreshed, natural appearance that still looks like you…but a much more balanced you. Every face is different, so we’ll work together to customize a treatment that’s just for you.
What areas can facial balancing help improve?
Most of my clients prefer treatment for their cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, temples, under-eye area, or a combination of several or all of these. Fillers can also soften smile lines, enhance your profile, and improve your overall facial symmetry. Since no two faces are alike, treatment areas are fully customized based on your individual facial anatomy and goals. We’ll discuss that together at your consultation.
What results can I expect with facial balancing?
My fabulous facial balancing treatment is designed to create a natural-looking result with minimal downtime in most cases. I absolutely love it because it enhances facial structure, improves symmetry, restores lost volume, and softens the signs of aging without making you look overdone. It really is ideal for my clients who want subtle refinement and harmony rather than dramatic change. How awesome does that sound?
Speaking of results, are they immediate, and how long do they last?
My clients especially love that their results from dermal fillers are visible immediately after treatment. As far as how long they last, most hyaluronic acid fillers last between 9–18 months in most cases, depending on the specific filler used, treatment area, and your individual metabolism. Some areas, such as the cheeks or jawline, may maintain results longer than others. More good news is that I offer maintenance treatments to help preserve that balance over time (which I typically recommend).
Plus, you can do your part to help maintain your results by staying hydrated and following proper aftercare (which I will tell you all about) to optimize your results. I usually recommend that my clients avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol consumption, and excessive heat for about 24–48 hours after their treatment. I may also recommend combining filler with other treatments, such as neurotoxin injections or special skincare services, for enhanced facial harmony. Don’t worry…we’ll go over all those details at your consultation so you have a clear idea of what to expect.
What about downtime after treatment?
Dermal filler injections most often involve minimal downtime. You can expect some mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, but these usually resolve within a few days. Most of my clients return to their daily activities immediately or the next day after treatment. The fantastic final results typically settle within 1–2 weeks as the filler has integrated into the tissue.
How many syringes of filler will I need for best results?
The number of syringes varies depending on your unique facial structure, goals, and desired treatment areas. Since it’s a literal “balancing act,” treatment typically requires multiple syringes to achieve proportionate results. Some people need more than others. We’ll thoroughly discuss a personalized treatment plan and pricing estimate at your consultation.
How much does facial balancing cost?
Pricing for facial balancing will depend on the type of filler used and the number of syringes needed to create your desired results. At the Pharm, filler is priced per syringe. My staff and I will provide a detailed, customized quote at your consultation so there are no surprises.
