Sculptra is most commonly used to treat volume loss in the cheeks, temples, jawline, and nasolabial folds (aka smile lines). What happens immediately after treatment?
Like I said, the magic of Sculptra lies in its gradualness, but you may see some volume right after treatment due to water in the injection. This fades within a few days, however. Aside from that, there is minimal downtime needed, if any. You may experience some mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, but these effects usually clear up in a few days. Most of my clients return to their normal activities the same day.
Don’t forget to do your part after treatment to enhance your results.
Listen up, because this is important – hydration is key, both before and after treatment. Drinking plenty of water helps Sculptra work its magic in the best way possible. I also recommend a 5-minute facial massage 5 times per day for 5 days because it really helps with even collagen stimulation. You can also support your skin with daily SPF, a healthy skincare regimen, monthly facials, and lifestyle habits that protect your collagen. After discussing your goals, we may recommend combining Sculptra with other modalities for enhanced results. As far as maintaining those beautiful results, we recommend annual maintenance treatments to preserve your collagen levels.
How much does Sculptra cost?
At Beauti Pharm, Sculptra is priced at $800 per vial. The number of vials needed depends on your goals and the specific treatment areas.
